Heritage Volunteer
Volunteer with our Heritage Group and help celebrate and preserve Stretford Public Hall’s history!
The Stretford Public Hall Heritage Group is a collaborative effort formed by volunteers aimed at preserving and celebrating the Hall’s rich history. Since opening in 1879 as a gift from the Rylands family, the Hall has played vital roles in the local community, from a Civic Theatre to council offices, and most recently as a community-owned space that provided critical support during the COVID-19 pandemic and the Cost-of-Living Crisis. As the Hall approaches its 150-year anniversary in 2029, join us to help celebrate the Hall’s past and its present at the heart of the Stretford community.
