Repair Cafe Volunteer

We are proud to host the Stretford Repair Café at Stretford Public Hall, part of the worldwide network of over 2,500 Repair Cafés teaching people to see their possessions in a new light. Our Repair Café Volunteers help people fix broken items and learn new skills.

You’ll play a crucial role sharing your knowledge to support our visitors and helping reduce waste in the community. Our current group of tinkerers help with textiles, wooden, electrical, IT and mechanical items – we welcome help with all this and more.

The Stretford Repair Café currently runs on the last Sunday of the month, 10-12, with a break during the summer.
