Repair Cafe Volunteer

Do you have an interest in helping us support a sustainable society? Practical knowledge to help others fix broken things and to share your skills? We need your help with our Stretford Repair Café!

Repair Cafés are free meeting places and they’re all about repairing things (together). In the place where a Repair Café is located, you’ll find tools and materials to help you make any repairs you need.

Our volunteers run the Stretford Repair Café on the first Sunday of the month (from 10:00am-12:00pm) at Stretford Public Hall. We aim to start this in June 2024.

Repair Café volunteers have a range of skills and share their knowledge and experience to help our local community to keep fixable stuff out of the waste system and show them how to do simple repairs.
